BIRTHDAY PARTY.
One hundred friends were invited last evening to the Leah Taylor Reception Rooms, in Chancery Lane, to celebrate the birthday of Mrs. L. J. „Stitt. The guest of honour was the recipient of many dainty and floral gifts. An enjoyable programme, comprising dancing and items rendered by Mrs. Nelson, Mrs. Slyfleld, Messrs. John Thompson, Harpool, Bert Crooke, Gordon Stitt, Maurise Stitt, Betty Sayers and Warwick Slyfleld, were received with encores. Mm. Stitt received her I guest* in a gown of black and silver cloque.
Among those present were: Mcftdemen Crooks, sen., Slyfleld, Sayers, Rom, Crooks, Knajrjjr*, Kelion, Miwn Pbylli* Knajrjrs, Maisie Butler, Molly Kerr, Scott, Norma Rigby. The supper-room wan colourful in all shades of pink flowers.
