I HARBOUR BOARD FINANCE. INCREASE FOR FIRST MONTH. "The flnt month, October, makes a "••PPJ entry into th« new financial year, with an increaee of £3002 in the cash receipts over the figures for October, 193<1,'' stated the monthly financial report of the treaeurer, Mr. C. Garrett, presented to the Harbour Board at a meeting to-day. Receipts on the Waitemata Harbour during October were £39,178, an increaee of £3977 on October, 1936. On the Manukau a decreaee of £75 was ehown, making a net increaee for both harbours of £3962. In the Waitemata account there were Ahown decreases in towage, cranes, dock •dues and water supply. Other items of revenue showed substantial increases.
