MORE GOOSEBERRIES. i STRAWBERRIES SELL WELL. LEMONS ARK (.'HE Al*. A good demand existed to-day for strawberries and hothouse tomatoes. I'ineajiples and orange* also had a good inquiry. Apples oT good quality were in demand with pears only fair. New Zealand grapefruit is selling moderately well, but lemons are still dull of sale. Californian grapes have a fair inquiry. Australian oranges are available in good quantities, but the demand to-day was only fair. Gooseberries are coming forward in increased quantities.

Vegetables. Plentiful sup'plies of most vegetables were available to-day. although cabUige was not marketed in such quantities as it has been recently and advanced slightly in price. Green peas, new potatoes, cauliriower and lettuce were in heavy supply and sol<l at fairly steady rates. New season's marrows are now coming forward in increasing quantities and hothouse cucumbers are aiso more plentiful. Pumpkins were lower in price to-day. also hothouse beans. Carrots, parsnips anil beet were in good supply, but continued to sell at high prices. Quotations: —
