SUCCUMBS AFTER WORK. STEWARDS' CANDIDATE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) C'HRISTCHURC'H, this day. The Stewards' Handicap candidate Eini.*sary died this morning after work. He was very lame on leaving the track and died later. His death is believed to lie due to an internal haemorrhage.

BEE STING KILLS STALLION

A sting 011 the tongue by a bee was responsible last week for the death, at Mr. Sol Green's Underbank Stud, of Son o' Mine, who ran third in the 1927 Melbourne Cup, and who sired the 1935 Caullield Cup winner Palfresco. Son o' Mine was an imported horse by Son-in-I.aw from Arquebus.
