SUNSHINE FAIR.

BLUE FORGET-ME-NOTS. MANY ATTRACTIVE STALLS. Nobody has decided yet whether it ia gpring or summer, but at the Community Sun-shine fair held in the Lewis Eady Hall to-day provision was made for both seasons. The shamrock stall was the es«tence of spring itself. Soft green decorations were intermingled with seasonal handkerchiefs, which ranged in all sizes from grandfather's weekly to baby's daily and quickly ironed square. The flower stall, on the other hand, was well prepared for summer. Roaes bloomed in profusion. Not only the first tiny buds of the season, but the large full blown blooms that tell of real summer days. In the tearooms Community Sunshine forget-me-nots played a predominant part in the decorations. Across the trellis work long trails of blue flowers were suspended, while the helpers in their white aprons and quaint head-dresses of forget-me-nots made an attractive picture. The stage, too, was decorated with the traditional flowers of the Community Sunshine auxiliary, these being arranged in large tubs and vasea.

Those helping in the various stalk were: — Handkerchiefs, Mrs. C'. Whyte and Mrs. G. Spinks; cakes, Meodames C. D. Simpson, Cormack, A. P. Newsham and A. Goldsmith; cups and saucer*, Mrs. Starkey and Mrs. E. Delanche; flowers, Mesdames Sexton, E. Norton, A. H. Cavaye and Miss Joyce Williamson; sweets, H. E. Burton. G. Marsh, C. Cooper, G. Simpson and P. Ellis; produce, Mesdames J. Angove and Hillier; tearooms, Me«dame« L. A. Eady, G. A. Downey, T. T. Garland, W. O. Lane, W. Carr, J. S. Gillanders, Putallo, A. The fair, which was opened by Mrs. C. Bright, the president of the parent body of the Community Sunshine ladies' auxiliary, waa organised by Mrs. A. Blomfleld. During the afternoon items were given by Mifts Beresford's pupils.
