NIGHTMARE DIVE.
FELL TWELVE FEET. JUMPED GARDEN WALL YOUNG SLEEP-WALKER. BLACKPOOL. A young man dived through a bedroom window while in a nightmare and was taken to the Blackpool Victoria Hospital with fractures of both ankles. He was Cecil Kxall, aged 22, of Fleeming Road, Walthamstow, London, who bad been staying on business at a house in Ti ought on Crescent, Marton. He fell despite the efforts of a room tmate, Stanley Mills, to keep him away I from the window. Kxall's landlady, Mrs. Millar, said itliat people in the house were awakened by a scream from Kxall. "Mills attempted to hold him down.'' she said, "but he had the strength of ten, and latter a struggle, during which both fell ■from the bed to the door, Kxail broke away. "Mills grabbed his ankles as he was diving through the window, but he was unable to stop Kxall from falling. He fell about 12ft, turning a somersault in the air. Then he picked himself up. ran (down the path and jumped the garden [wall, afterwards collapsing. He was! asleep t lllougiioiit the whole time."
