PRESENTATIONS.

MUNICIPAL ABATTOIR STAFF.

At the first annual dinner of the Auckland Municipal Abattoir Employees' Social and Benefit Club four members of the abattoir staff who had reached the retiring age were recipients of presentations. Mr. R. W. Rugg, manager of the abattoir, complimented each upon the loyal and capable service they had rendered and wished them long life to enjoy their retirement. Messrs. L. Miller, A. White and P. Madigan each had 29 years' service and Mr. D. Barry had 19 years' service. Another member of the staff to receive a present was Mr. R. E. Rugg, who was resigning after 15 years' service to enter other employment.
