RIVERHEAD CLUB.
Sppakinjr at the opening of the Rlv«t--head Tennis Club's season, the president. Mr. R. Could, stated that the club now had a membership of nearly 70. By the end of the year the club would be free of financial liabilities, with splendid courts and an up-to-date clubhouse. Mrs. R. Gould played the first ball. An exhibition match by a team from Auckland Wll4 played, those taking part neinjx A. Brewin, B. Brewin, E. Orbell and O. Utherland. The Tanket tournament had to he postponed owing to the showery weather.
