KIPLING SOCIETY.
j "The Religion of Kipling" was the kubject of an address by the Rev. C. E. Perkine, to the Kipling Society last light. The theology of Kipling, said Mr. Perkins, was to be found particularly in hi* poemo. "Tomlinson," "Recessional" and "The Children's Song."- All these works showed how the worth of individuals and nations had a definite place in the purposes of God. Recollection* of Kipling , * India were giv -n , by Mr. C. F. Goodvidge, who knew KipI ling as a young man. He described the native life of the cities and country that I Kipling had known, and referred particularly to Calcutta, Bombay, Simla and Lahore.
