VALUED ART TREASURES
British Official Wireless. (Received 0.30 a.m.) Rl_ GBY, October 21. With the help of the National Art Collectors Fund the trustees of t lie National Gallery have purchased four paintings. each about eipht inches square and painted on two panels, which originally formed t lie doois of a cupboard, or perhaps of a case of some musical instrument.
The pictures wore certainly painted in Venice about 1 ">OO. and pr.jbablv are the earliest work of (Jinrgione.
