ARCHITECT'S DEGREE.
Mr. John R. Blake-Kelly, of the (ioverninent Architect's Office, Auckland, has been advised that he has passed the examination for the degree of Bachelor of Architecture. The thesis design was for a metropolitan Catholic cathedral for Auckland, estimated to cost £2."»0,000. and to seat .'IOOO. The cathedral was designed to be built on the site of Bishop's House, Ponsonby.
