The Government Meteorologist (•sued to the "Auckland Star" thia afternoon the following special weather forecaat for the Auckland province to as far south as Hamilton, Kawhia and Tauranga:— Light to moderate winds between 1 south and eastl Weather mainly fair to cloudy, with mild temperatures. Seas slight to moderate. There is very little change in the situation over New Zealand, where pressure is still high, but the cyclone to the north-east has intensified and is now moving on a southward course, distant about 800 miles from the Dominion. A complex low-pressure disturbance covers the western half of the Tasman Sea. I FOR THE DOMINION. For 24 hours from 9 a.m. this day:— The indications are for moderate i south-easterly winds prevailing. Mainly t there is a prospect of fair to cloudy weather, but some isolated showers or misty rain is to be expected. Baroi meter little movement. Seaa smooth , to moderate. HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Guif was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, north-east, light; sea, smooth; weather, cloudy, but fine; visibility, good; barometer, rising slowly.
