CAULFIELD MEETING.

WEATHER NOW FINE. (Received 12 noon.) MELBOURNE, this day. The weather is fine, with a strong wind which will be beneficial to the Caulfield track. Present appearances are favourable for the meeting to-morrow. On the tan at Caulfield this morning Sir Regent ran five furlongs in 1.7% and OnlyOne four in 555. Wotan and International did a mile in 1.57%. The other cup candidates were given easy tanks. All are fit. The nnusual conditions upset Willie Win. but his connections hope the horse will be fit to run to-morrow. Wotan and Desert Chief are bad wet track horses and their connections will leave their decision as to starting until to-morrow.
