SOCCER FINALS.

TO-MORROW'S GAMES.

CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS.

THISTLE TO PLAY COMRADES.

Comrades won the Falcon Cup in a very unsatisfactory way, that is, by default, for Thistle, their opponents, could not raise a team for the final game. Thistle won the senior championship, and now, for the Scott Ramsay Cup, Comrades and Thistle will meet to-morrow afternoon in the champion of champions match at Blandford Park. The game has more than ordinary significance in these circumstances. Comrades are quite pleased to have the opportunity of showing what they might have done in the Falcon Cup final, while Thistle will no doubt be quite glad of the chance to show that they might have completely scooped the pool in the senior grade this season by annexing the championship, the Falcon Cup and adding the Scott Ramsay trophy to their list of successes. Whatever the result, the game is creating much more than ordinary interest and keenness, and though late in the season the players of both sides have never slackened off in their endeavours to keep fit. Both teams play constructive football, and the ground conditions should suit for this type of game, provided the ball can be kept under control, and the contest is certain to be fast and thrilling in pace. It would be courting disaster to attempt to foretell the result, as both teams are very evenly matched; the only certainty seems to be that the. contest will be stubbornly fought out from start to finish. The curtain-raiser will be the final of the Dacre Cup, the second division knockout trophy, and Y.M.C.A. and Eastern Suburbs are the contestants. These teams have met several times during the season and produced bright and interesting football, and the game to-morrow should be no exception. i Teams: — [ THISTLE. i Senior. —WaTren, W.
