ROTARY CLUB.

WEEKLY LUNCHEON MEETING. VISITING MEMBERS WELCOMED. At to-day's weekly luncheon meeting of the Auckland Rotary Club, held in Milne and Choyce's reception hall, the president, Rotarian Harold Thomas, presided over a large attendance. Among the visitors were: Rev. E. O. Blamires (Wellington), Hon. W. H. Mclntyre (Buller), Messrs. R. Scott (London, Canada), W. M. L'Estrange (Brisbane), F. R. Jones, E. A. Wallace. G. O. Sutton (Wellington), L. W. Torode (Melbourne), F. Jones (Wanganui), H. C. Rishworth and T. Mitchell (Whangarei), H. H. Blandford (Palmerston North) and K. A. Piper (Hanworth).

A welcome was extended to Rotarians H. Dearaly end J. Yock, who returned recently from abroad.

The president reported on the annual forum held at Rotorua at the week-end, which he said had been highly successful.

The speaker of the day was Rotarian Sir Clutha Mackenzie, who spoke on recent experiences abroad. The vote of thanks was moved by Rotarian A. J. Hutchinson.
