Falling from his bicycle while riding down an incline in Atkinson Avenue, Otahuhu, shortly after six o'clock on Saturday evening, a slaughterman, Mr. William H. W. Kendall, aged 58, of Portage Road, Otahuhu, suffered severe head injuries. He was taken by a St. John ambulance to the Auckland Hospital. His condition to-day is reported to be slightly improved.
