OTAMATEA JERSEYS. (By Telegrnph—Own Correspondent.) WHAXGAREI, this day. The Otamatea Jersey Club held its fifth annual pedigree bull sale at Paparoa on Friday. The entry of 31 bulk came forward in very nice condition, and quite a few had substantial butterfnt backing. Top price was 31V6gs for a two-year-old bre.l by Mr. Mark Mat-ran. of Huarau. This animal was a son of Mr. H. E. Johnson's famous sire Handsome Flag.
MATAWHERO SALE. GISBORXE, Friday. Largely owing to the fall of skin prices, fat sheep prices dropped considerably today at Matawbero sale. The store sheep class was the largest for some time. There was good competition. The highest price of the season for ewes with lambs, 40/3, was paid for a quality line. Fat ewes made up to 34/6; hoggets, to 27/; shorn ewes, 25/. Store ewes, extra good, made 40/3; others, to 35/; wether hoggets, 29/ to 31/.
