CHAMPIONSHIP FIGHT.
FILM FOR ROXY-TIVOLI. How a Welsh miner almost succeeded in wresting the heavy-weight boxing crown from the head of Joe Louis, of America, :s seen in the thrilling round-for-round film of the fight, which is included in the programme coining to the Roxy and Tivoli Theatres next week. Tommy Farr, unknown a few months ago, has suddenly flashed into the limelight as a likely contender for the championship belt. His decision and that of Max Schmeling also to challenge Louie once again should provide a cycle of fights that will keep the boxing fans satisfied for many months to come. Every detail of the 15 rounds is carefully caught by the cameras in one of the most outstanding fight pictures for years. The associate programme includes "Mountain Music," the stopy of an ageold feud between two families. Bob Burns and Martha Raye are the stars. "Westbound Limited," which will also be screened, is an exciting railway drama. Accused unjustly of criminal negligence, made a fugitive from the law, a railroad man risks imprisonment, as well as his neck, to save a passenger train in this film. Lyle Talbot and Polly Rowles are the stars. A thrilling rescue and Talbot's vindication clinch the climax of the drama.
