STORE SHED ABLAZE.
DAMAGE AT PUKEKOHE. (From Our Correspondent.) PUKEKOHE, Thursday. A fire which broke out in a store shed at the roar of Fulton's Buildings, King Street, this afternoon, caused damage to the extent of £120. The shed, which is 50ft long by 22ft wide, is divided into two rooms. In one, stock belonging to McGintv's Bargain Stores was destroyed or damaged to the extent of about £60. The loss is covered by insurance with the Royal Exchange Office.
The building, which has corrugated iron walls and roof, was damaged to the extent of about £40, while shop fittings stored in one of the rooms and belonging to Mr. W. J. Short suffered to the extent of about £20. The shed is insured in the Standard Office.
