Signor Mussolini received Signor Guiseppi Tallarico, who claims to have discovered petroleum in Calabria. He presented a small bottle of oil, which he declared was of excellent quality.

Signor Tallarico is a deputy in the Italian Parliament and a noted biologist.

It is reported that a company will be formed to exploit the deposit, which is Italy's first.
