MILITARY DANCE.

DISABLED SOLDIERS' ASSOCIATION The Ambassadors Hall, Dominion Road, was on Tuesday night taxed to its capacity to accommodate the large crowd which attended the military ball organised to benefit the funds of the Disabled Soldiers' Association. The music was supplied by the Ist Battalion Regimental Band, of 24 instruments, under the leadership of Lieutenant G. W. Bowes. The large dining hall was beautifully decorated in red, white and blue, and a voluntary staff was kept exceedingly busy in this department. The evening passed all too quickly.

Among those present were representatives of many sympathetic organisations wishing to assist the Disabled Soldiers' Association,. Captain Bale, patron, thanked all who had helped to make the ball the outstanding success of the year.
