POLICE TRANSFER.
Constable N. S. Milligan, of the Newton station, has been transferred to Gisborne. For the past 12 years he has been stationed at Newton, doing duty in both the uniform and plain clothes branches. Constable Milligan, who joined the force in 1924, ha* passed hk senior-sergeant's examination.
