TWENTY YEARS' SERVICE.
EDITOR OF NEWSPAPER. Tributes to the services of Mr. R. M. Hacket on the completion of 20 vears' service a* editor of the "Xew Zealand Herald" were paid at a smoke covert held on Saturday nieht. The consrrat illations and pood wishes of the staff were expressed and Mr. Hacket was presented with a wristlet watch for himself and a silver table centre-piece for his wife.
