TOURNEY AT ROTORUA QUALIFYING PLAY. H. B. LUSK (74), BEST ROUND. (By Telegraph—Spedal to "Star.") ROTORUA, this day. The annual New Zealand veterans' golf tournament opened at Rotorua this morning in good weather conditions. Eightyeight competitors entered this year. The qualifying rounds are being played on two separate days. The 32 best aggregate net scores qualify for the Veterans' Cup and .the next 32 for the Arikikapakapa Cup. Up to midday the best gross score was 74 returned by H. B. Lusk, of Auckland, and the best net score (67j by H T. Gillies (Hamilton). The beet cards were: H. T. Gillies, 80—13—€7; T.
