CAR STRUCK PJST. MOTHER'S ARM FRACTURED.. A fatal motoring accident occurred at Waikino, five miles from Waihi, yesterday morning, a child losing her life. Those involved were:— DEAD: V'-' r i Malison Joyce Merry, aged four years. INJURED. Mrs. Eunice Merry, aged 29, of 42, Dean Street, Arch Hill, Auckland, mother of the child. s ; - Mrs! Merry, who is. a wardsmaid at the Auckland Hospital, and her daughter were traveling in a motor car, which skidded on a bridge at Waikino and struck a post. The child suffered severe facial injuries and Mrs. Merry had ah arm fractured. ~-*■■■ Mother and daughter were brought to the Auckland Hospital, where, they were admitted at 4 p.m. The child died last evening. Mrs. Merry's condition last night was .reported to. be not serious.
