FIRST GOODS TRAINS.
NAPIER TO WAIROA. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) NAPIER, Tuesday. The first of the regular service goods trains from Napier to Wairoa left Napier at 7.20 last evening, its 19 cars containing 230 tons of goods for the northern station. Early this morning a tram arrived in Napier from Wairoa with trucks of cattle. For the present there will be one train from Napier to Wairoa each evening, excluding Saturdays and Sundays, which will arrive back in Napier early the next morning. Goods will be carried for intermediate stations along the line.
