WARRANT RECEIVED.

BOT SCOUT COMMISSIONER. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. The acting-Dominion Chief Commissioner of the Boy Scouts' Association, Mr. Hector Christie, of Wanganui, this morning received his warrant at the hands of the Chief Scout for New Zealand, .Lord Galway. The warrant, which waa issued by Imperial headquarters, London, bears the signature of the World Chief Scout, Lord Baden-Powell, and authorises Mr. Christie to act as Dominion Chief Commissioner. Mr. Christie has been associated with the boy eeout movement for almost 15 years and has rendered outstanding services to the organisation. Some three yeans ago he received the honorary medal of merit in recognition of his valued services to the movement.
