INFECTIOUS DISEASE
HEALTH DISTRICT RETURNS. Polimiiyeljtis (which includes infantilj paralysis) was the prevalent infectious disease notified in the Central Auckland Health District in June, there being IS ca'.«os. Thirteen cases of tuberculosis were notified, and eight cases of diphtheria. In the Thames-Tauranga Health District for the same period three cases, of poliomyelitis were notified, also three cases of enteric fever.
