MAUNGANUI ARRIVES.

MARIPOSA DUE ON FRIDAY.

HUNTINGDON FOR OPUA.

VARRA WITH SYDNEY CARGO.

The Union Company's intercolonial liner Maunganui arrived from Sydney shortly before 7 o'clock this morning and berthed at the Central wharf. She brought passengers, mails (including two Empire air mails) and general cargo. She will sail on her return to Sydney at 8 p.m. on Thursday. The Mateon liner Mariposa arrived at Suva th:s morning from San Francisco, via way ports. She .-ails at 5 p.m. for Auckland and is due here at, 7 a.m. on Friday, .ailin" again at 5 p.m. for Sydney and Melbourne. Tho Federal Line steamer Huntingdon is loading for London and West of England ports at the King's wharf and will leave to-morrow evening for Opua, Tokomaru Bay and Xapjer. She completes at Wellington, sailing on July 17, going Home via Cape Horn. The Huddart-Parker Company's cargo steamer Yarra is due on Thursday morning from Sydney with cargo, including 000 tons overcarried by the Wanganella on her last visit. She is a vessel of 22.">7 tons, 202 ft long, and was built for the company by Messrs. Furness. Withy mid Company, of Hartlepool, in 1907, and has since l>een engaged in the cargo trade out of Melbourne, this being her first visit to New Zealand.

Port Bowen, which arrived from London yesterday afternoon, is discharging at the Queen's wharf. She ie expected to leave for Wellington on Saturday. (F. Co-op.) Tredinnick is discharging cargo from Montreal at the Prince's wharf and will leave for Wellington on Friday afternoon. (X.Z.S. Co.) Matai left port eoon after eeven o'clock this morning to attend to the lighthouses in the gulf, also on the northern coast. (Marine Dept.) Omana, which left Melbourne last Wednesday for Auckland, will arrive at 7 a.m. on Thursday. (U.S.S. Co.) Rotorua ie loading for London at the Queen's wharf and will sail at daylight next Tuesday. (X.Z.S. Co.) Cornwall, now discharging cargo from Liverpool at the Prince'* wharf, ie expected to leave for Wellington on Thursday. (X.Z.S. Co.) Wingatui will leave for Wellington and South Inland porta at noon tomorrow. (U.S.S. Co.) Monowai will leave Vancouver on Thursday, a day later than usual owing to a delay in the English mail. She will make up the time on her voyage south. (U.S.S. Co.) Hauraki is due from Vancouver and Pacific Coast ports on July 1.3. Sho will call at Papeete for fruit. (U.S.S. Co.)
