This cluster is situated near the centre of (Fig. 3), the JUtflfo Way, and forms merely a "knot" of matter along one of the spiral arma (marked vith X). Fig. 4, v\e Milky Way, in turn constitute* but one of an illimitable number of spirals, of independent star systems, scattered throughout space.
