j HUSBAND DESERTED. I 1 On the ground of desertion Kenneth 1 Alexandra Lockie (Mr. R. S. Burt) petitioned for divorce from Daisy Lockie, in the Supreme Court this morning,, before Mr. Justice Reed. Petitioner said he 'married respondent on August 28, 1923, and there was one child of the marriage. In June, 1&33, ! his wife went away, apparently on holiday, and the following October wrote him from Masterton saying she was not coming back, and that she loved another man. Petitioner had more than once since asked her to return, but she refused to do eo. A decree nisi was granted. 1
