Farmers Regret Continuance Against Britain. IMPORTATION OF STOCK. (Received 12.30 p.m.) LOXDOX, June 29. Regret that the Xew Zealand embargo on stock from Britain had not been lifted, was expressed by Mr. G. B. Dernier, leader of the Xew Zealand and South African farmers' touring Europe, speaking at a luncheon tendered to the party by TTiomas Cooks. "I think it is a great mistake that Xew Zealand is not opening its doors to cattle from Britain. Many people at home are . adopting the wrong attitude." The party hopes to inspect the quarantine station here and gather vital information on the question of removing the ban. | Mr. W. J. Jordan and officials of the company referred to the value of such I tours, and hoped this one would be ■ followed bv others.
