WEATHER FORECAST.
FOR CITY AND PROVINCE.
The Government Meteorologist issued to the "Auckland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland Province to as far south as Tauranga, Kawhia and Hamilton:— Moderate to strong easterly winds, later decreasing. Weather dull and misty, with rain at times, but lat«r improving. Temperatures cold. Seas rather rough to rough, but decreasing, on the east coast and slight to moderate on the west coast. Pressure remains hic't ever tha Tasman Sea and New 2.eaiand, but a shallow depression is pacsinn in the north. FOR THE DOMINION. For 24 hours from 9 a.m. this day:— The indications are for moderate to strong easterlies, decreasing. Weather cloudy to overcast, intermittent rain probable, but later improving. Barometer little movement. Beaa rough. HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, east, fresh; sea, rough; weather, cvercast, with misty rain; visibility, poor; barometer, falling.
