PENSIONERS' COMFORTS.

T have had ample opportunity to find out just what it means to a pensioner when he or she receives notice to renew the radio license, and how many in the past have had to fo!go the simple pleasures of the radio, because to pay another quarter meant going without something which they required to live on. Now to prant the license free to such as deserved it would not cost the people very much, if anything, yet what would it mean to many who had a radio, but had not wed it for come time now as they could not find the means of paying for a licence? T would like to hear of others who know of similar ca-cs and would endorse the suggestion, thus assisting to brin? :i little more cumforl to those who arc finding the modern world just a little too hard apainst them.
