| WHAT! A CLIPPER? — This is not a Ripley story, but, strange as it seems, the battered and Weather-beaten hulk Jubilee Was once a fast China tea clipper. Top: Shorn of her 1 rig, poop and fo'c'sle, she bears little resemblance to a clipper, save for her fineness of line and sheer aft, as she lies in placid resignation alongside the Western wharf to-day. Centre: The massive timber drums of her anchor windlass, which was housed under her fo'c'sle head, are in a remarkable state of preservation after 80 years. The hulkkeeper, 1 Mr. S. Litchfield, is proud of his charge's record. Below: The old style bilge pump, a bogy of the sailor, is a relic of its kind. (See letterpress below.)
