PRICES OF METALS. ALL ROUND EASING. (Received 10 a.m.) LONDON', June 21. Following are to-day's quotations on the London metal market, compared with thoee of June 18:— j j j

TALLOW, HEMP, FRUITS. HIGH COMMISSIONER'S CABLE. The Department of Agriculture has received the following cablegram, dated June 19, from the High Commissioner for New Zealand, London:— Tallow.—Little more inquiry at unchanged prices. Hemp.—Manila: Market continues slow; value "K" grade for June-August and October-December shipments, £32. Sisal: Market quiet; steadier at the close. JuneAugust shipments sold at £28 10/ ; AugustOctober and December-February shipments sold at £28 15/. New Zealand: Several inquiries bat shippers' prices out of range.

Fruits. —Port Brisbane discharged in sound condition. Apples: Steady demand but 110 improvement in prices. Current prices are—Granny Smith, 9/ to 13/; Dougherty, 0/ to 10/; Jonathans,' Delicious, Cleopatra, Statesman, Sturmer, Rome Beauty, Scarlet Nonpareil, Spitzenberg and Yates. 6/ to 8/; Dunn's Favourite, 6/ to 7/6. Pears: Winter Nelis, 10/ to 12/; Winter Cole, 10/ to 11/; Beurre Bosc, 8/ to 0/; Keiffer, Beurre Diel and L'lnconnue, 6/ to 8/. WORLD WHEAT PRICES. (Received 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, June 21. Wheat cargoes are lower, and parcels easier. Futures—London: July, 41/10 per quarter; November, 40/3. Liverpool: July, 8/6% per cental; October, 8/4%; December, 8/4%. Chicago.—July. 112 cent* per bushel; September, 111% cents; December, 113% cent 6. BRADFORD STEADY. ( (Received 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, June 21. Bradford is quietly steady.
