De vine, Hutt and Wellington middle-row forward. A. 11. Andrews, Hutt, Wellington and Canterbury back-row forward. F. R. T". Smith, Wellington Club mid Wellin<rton middle-row forward. J. R. Butler. Auckland and Wellington riiddle-row forward.

The Wellington sole selector is Mr. M. F. Xicholls. but lie has the help this season of Messrs. A. McDonald and F. D. Kilbv.

Although Griffiths has not been nominated in the first batch, he may still be given a chance. Union and sub-union selectors have until June 30 to complete their lists of nominations.

Griffiths has so far revealed poor form this season. He split a lip earlier in the season, and was on the sideline for a couple of weeks, but lie lias not struck form since his return to the field.
