KING'S CORONATION.
COOK ISLAND celebrations. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Saturday. The correspondent of the United Press Association, writing from Rarotonga, states that the celebrations on the occasion of the Coronation of King George VI. and Queen Elizabeth were carried out throughout the whole of the Cook group on May 12. The function at Rarotonga included a parade \of returned soldiers, boys' brigade, girl guides and school children, followed by a sports meeting and a Coronation ball in the evening. Dances were also held in each village. Special church services were held in all churches on the Sunday preceding Coronation Day,
