Contracts were signed on April 26, after negotiations lasting over a weekSince he took the titles from Foord in March, Farr has been regarded as the natural rival of Neusel. In four consecutive fights in England the German has beaten Petersen tnree times (twice while he was champion) and Foord. Purse for the Farr-Neusel battle will be the biggest yet paid by the Harringay promoter, who considered, at the time the contract was signed, that it it is staged indoors it will draw about £20,000, wnile in the open air at White City it might net £40,000.
