WILL DONATE £50.

ROTARY CLUB'S DECISION. The .Auckland Rotary Club decided to-day to contribute £50 towards the coet of talkie equipment that is being provided for the Makogai leper station. The suggestion that the club should give this sum was made by the president, Rotarian D. Henry, at to-day's lunch meeting of the club in Milne and Choyce's reception hall. Among, the visitors were: Messrs. E. Smith (England), C. Newton (Wellington), F. Greenfield and M. H. Hampson (Rotorua), R, Nelson (Whangarei), J. Keenan (Russell) and Drs. Ritchie (Taumarunui) and Bertram (Rotorua). The speaker of the day was Dr. Bertram, president of the Rotorua Rotary Club, whose subject was "The Maori." The vote of thanks was moved by Rotarian G. L. Taylor.
