MANY HEN PHEASANTS. (From Our Own Correspondent.) TAURAXGA, Wednesday. The game shooting season opened in the Tauranga district yesterday. Pheasants are reported to be fairly numerous, but hens predominated, in some localities to the extent of three to one. Quail are. very scarce, and duck were seen in moderate numbers. *
