IN WEDDING KNOT.
"LOFTY" BLOMFIELD WEDS.| CELEBRATION LAST NIGHT. I In a private home at Mount Eden last | evening Meynell (Lofty) Blonifield, thej well-known New Zealand professional wrestler, was married to Lily Balenzuela,i of Coogee, Sydney. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. F. J. Parker, of| the Mount Kden Methodist Church. The wedding was a quiet one, several intimate friends being the only people present at the home of Mrs. F. Tallentyre, 10, Mewburn Avenue, Mount Eden, where the ceremony was held. Mr. L. M. Smith assisted the groom as best man, and Miss C. Cunningham was bridesmaid. At the wedding brer.kfast held later at the Returned Soldiers' HallJ Point Chevalier, a large number of! friends were present. The central feature was the large wedding cake, decorated on top with a representation of a -wrestling ring, with two miniature figures in the course of a bout. Mr. and Mrs. Blomfield will leave Auckland later this week for a brief honeymoon tour.
