MEMBER HONOURED.

The Garratt Philharmonic Society held

a social evening at the German Club rooms, in honour of one of its members. Miss Cushla deLange. The president, Mr. Win. A. Garratt, addressed the large gathering and presented Miss deLange with a bouquet of orchids. Dancing and musical performances in turn were enjoyed. Songs were given by the following members: Miss deLange, Messrs. Barrett, Garratt. Hastie and Kessell. A number of items were rendered by members of the Auckland Banjo Guitar and Mandolin Club.
