PUBLIC NOTICES. FRIENDS SPANISH CHILDREN RELIEF FUND. I ' The Trustees. Messrs. Egerton Gill, Ernest H. Wright, and Alfred Gregory, take this opportunity of thanking all thos« who have already contributed, and. at a later date, hope to extend their efforts considerably, as relief will be required for many months. Alfred Jacob, the representative of the 'Society of Friends, who is organising the relief in Spain, writes in reference to the evacuation of Malaga :—"Tens of thousands of people are between Montril and Almeria. on the highway by night and in the hills by day, totally dependent on a really large national and international effort for their salvation." The interest and sympathy evoked by the effort to aid the refugee children in Spain through the joint Society of Friends (Quaker) Relief and Save the Children Fund in London has already enabled £200 (sterling) to be cabled from Auckland district. Grateful acknowledgment is made of donations from churches, lodges, schools, other organisations and the many individual sympathisers who have already given to the fund. The Office of the Trustees is at 52. Campbell's Bldgs., Corner High St. and Vulcan Lane, Auckland, where contributions to the ! fund may be sent. The need grows greater and will continue while ever war conditions exist. x3l A UCKLAND HARBOUR BOARD. BY-LAWS, j Secretary's Office. [ Quay Street.
