ORPHANS' CLUB.

The executive members of the Devonport and Onehunga Orphans' Club* were the guest* of the Auckland Orphans' Club on Saturday night. Professor Maxwell Walker extended a welcome to the visitors, which was replied to by Messrs. Hartman and Gillies. Under Mr. Harold Baxter, the orchestra provided an entertaining programme. Mr. Arthur Ripley, a member of the Lyric Four, was welcomed back after an extended period in hospital.
