FILM IN AUSTRALIA.

HOLLYWOOD STAR'S PLAN". I Lloyd Hughes, Hollywood feature player, will arrive in Auckland by the Aorangi on June 1. He will be accompanied by his wife, Mr. Hughes is on his way to Australia where he is to play the male lead in the new film "Lovers and Luggers," adapted from a book by Gurney Slade.

Opposite Lloyd Hughes, a well-known New Zealand girl takes the feminine lead. She is Elaine Hamill, of Hawke's Bay. She made her film debut in "Grandad Rudd" and is a J. C. Williamson stage star. Miss Hamill is at present in Australia, and as soon as Lloyd Hughes arrives production will start. Shirley Ann Richards, star of "It Isn't Done," has second feminine lead in "Lovers and Luggers."
