COLD RECEPTION FOR BALLET.

Christchurch weather gave a cold reI ception to the members of a Russian ballet that has been touring New Zealand. Wintry conditions did not, however, diminish the ardour and enthusiasm of the balletomanes, who queued up for the gallery night after night. Unfortunately, standing about in cold and wet gave colds and chills to many enthusiasts—with the exception of one who with considerable forethought provided herself with a bottle of Baxter's Lung Preserver. An occasional dose while she waited, of course, successfully warded off all- danger of coughs, colds and chills. "Baxter's" is best for all coughs, colds, sore throats and other bronchial ailments. Be sure 'you get "Baxter's"—a warming, soothing liquid that quickly relieves congestion, cuts phlegm, reduces inflammation. "Baxter's" has been New Zealand's greatest cough remedy for nearly 801 years. Always ask for "Baxter's"—the cough remedy with tonic properties, too. 1/6, 2/8, and the large family size 4/6, at all chemists and stores.—(Ad.)
