SECOND MISHAP.
REMUERA RESIDENTS.
COLLISION NEAR DOMAIN. YOUNG "WOMEN IN HOSPITAL. Within the sjince of u few weeks two residents of Keiiniera, Mr. and Miv. G. Dale, of 27. Bur wood Crescent, have been involved in two serious motor accidents. Yesterday, tukinjr their lirst motor car ride since Mr. Dale's car left the road on lie l.ionV Hack Hill, near Blenheim. Devonport. were admitted to the Auckland Hospital. Miss Dak , suffered severe concussion, and .Mrs. Dickie lias a (tossiltle fracture of the pelvis. Mrs. Dale escaped with a severe shaking, but Mr. Dale broke two ribs. At noon to-day improvement in tbe condition of both victims was reported. The taxi-cab involved in the collision was spun around by the impact. Both the front und rear mudjruards on one side of the taxi were badly crushed, the runninp-board was smashed, and the back wheel rested on its spokes. Several of the windows were smashed; the vehicle had to be towed away. As ii result of the mishap at Blenheim both Mr. and Mrs. Dale spent a month and a day in the Blenheim Hospital, Mr. Dale with a broken shoulder and severe concussion, and Mrs. Dale with a broken arm and a number of bruises.
