In the "Star" of May 12 ira? published « li«t of people to receive the Coronation medal On going through the list I noticed that moei of those who received it were member! of Parliament and their wive?, members of tv» Upper House, and union secretaries, bnt verv few of the thousands of ex-servicemen mai ex-Xavy men who marehed in the Coronafio. pro,-es#ion and with their comrades of tie Xavy. Army and cx-«ervicewo n ien and nunws who turned out in their thousands to make this one of the mor-t impressive eight* ever «een in Auckland. Those men and women have always turned out in all weathers rear after year to make these parades a great success and have always shown their true patriotism and loyalty to the Kin? and Qneea and their dead comrades and to the great British Empire. I trust and hope that eomeone in high authority will take this fight on on behalf of all ex-service men and women and ox-Xavy men and see that justice k done and fair plav given to all.
