ACCIDENT IN BUSH.

THAMES, Friday.

White cutting firewood five miles up the Karaka Creek, Mr. W. Barbalich ,(35) suffered a deep gaah in the left foot. His mate went for help, and an ambulance was dispatched. Sergeant E. V. Martin, of the St. John Ambulance Division, rendered first aid, and the injured man was carried on horseback to the ambulance which, owing to, slips, wae not able to go right to the scene of the accident.
